Dessert service set manufactured by Spode Felspar (1815-1827)
About the Item
A very good quality part dessert service manufactured by Spode Felspar between 1815 and 1827.
There are five dessert plates and seven shaped serving dishes including one footed raza , four shell shaped dishes and two shaped rectangular dishes.
The light oyster border is adorned with raised gilded gadroon edges, raised flowers and shell designs and the central cartouche has a hand painted floral bouquet.
Each central cartouche has a different hand painted bouquet.
There is a faint star crack at the back of one of the plates, otherwise every piece is in good condition
5 dessert plates are 22 cm diameter
The 2 leaf shaped dishes are 21 cm by 20.
The 4 oval dishes are
Pair 30 cm by 19.
The other pair 27 cm by 20
Comport is 34 cm by 22 cm by 10 cm
