    This pair of Limoges porcelain bisque busts featuring Brongniart children derives from a masterpiece of children's portraiture by Jean-Antoine Houdon (French, 1741-1828): the busts of Louise (1772-1845) and her brother Alexandre (1770-1847), children of the famous architect Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart.
