Royal Worcester Reticulated Pot Pourri Vase, Shape G11, 1923
A fine and unusual Royal Worcester porcelain pot pourri, dated 1923.
Modelled as a stylised bird with wings outstretched, supporting a reticulated pot pourri bowl on its back. The bowl is richly pierced and decorated with masks and scrolling foliage, all finely accented in gilt. The bird is perched on simulated rocky ground, and the whole is finished in blush ivory tones with further gilded detail.
Base with green factory stamp, shape number G11, and date code for 1923.
Dimensions: 19 cm high x 16 cm wide x 11 cm deep
Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. Gilding remains bright and clean. Lid not present, as acquired.
