About the Item

A fine set of 12 antique porcelain oyster plates. By T&V Limoges. With green transfer decoration of ferns as well as gilt highlights. Originally retailed by Davis, Collamore, & Co. on Broadway in New York City. Simply a top-shelf set of oyster plates! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Condition Details: There are a few spots of buffed glaze to the plate surfaces (from the factory). Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: T&V Limoges Marks: Each marked to the base with a black mark that reads T&V / France / Depose, and a red mark that reads Davis Collamore & Co. / Broadway Cor. 21st Street Measurements: Diameter: ca. 8 1/4 in.
