A stunning large studio pottery Jug, glazed earthenware with a slipware stylized polychrome decoration. Clearly marked to the base. The Troita studio was a prominent studio producer of handcrafted ceramics in the early 20th century, during the significant cultural flourishing in Bucharest and throughout Romania, and very few pieces of this size and quality remain intact today.
