Antique early 20th Century pair of German solid silver-mounted wine claret jugs of exceptionally large size. Each cut glass body is elegantly etched with swag and crosshatch designs, while the silver mountings showcase intricate Renaissance-style decorations in relief. The cast handles feature semi-nude figures holding bunches of grapes, and each hinged lid is topped with a detailed cast finial. Hallmarked German silver (800+ standard), Hailbronn, Maker Bruckmann & Sohne (active 1805-1973). CONDITION In Great Condition - Wear expected with age. Please refer to photographs.
