About the Item
Lot includes a scalloped salad plate, bread plate, saucer, square nut dish, round nut dish, oval bon bon dish, and taper candlestick / candle holder. One blank produced by Rosenthal and decorated by Hirsch (covered mark).
Franziska Hirsch established her porcelain painting business in Dresden in 1893. The studio gained a reputation decorating the porcelain in the Meissen style. The studio operated till ca. 1930. Dresden H with wings mark used 1901 – 1914.
