About the Item

Dress up your kitchen counter or a shelf with this fine colorful hand painted Majolica asparagus dish. Sculpted in Italy, circa 1960, the two-piece set has a bottom platter with high relief asparagus motifs tied with strings, and a rounded cradle shaped as white and green asparagus, also tied together with rope shaped. The dish is in excellent condition and beautifully hand painted in a palette of different green shades and beige. Stamp on the bottom. Measures: 13.25" W x 8.5" D x 3" H.
