About the Item
A fabulous vintage Italian recipe cocktail shaker made in Italy by the historic Roman company "Fornari".
The "Fornari" family was a point of reference in Rome for the purchase of Silver and Silver Plated with its shop in via del Gambero 27, forced to emigrate to the United States due to the racial laws imposed by the fascist regime, reopening during the 50s, thanks to the support of old suppliers who gave credit to the family, a new store in via Frattina.
The peculiarity of this shaker is in the "coktails recipe book" engraved in the internal container.
The line on the outer sleeve is pointed to the desired cocktail and the ingredients are revealed in each of the windows.
This shaker is in original vintage condition, on its surface a splendid patina of time and signs of use is visible, of all the barmen who must have used it for 60 years to prepare cocktails for their customers.
