American, circa 1875. An impressively detailed and hand crafted American coin silver ewer or pitcher featuring a beautiful nude figural female with sculpted foliate detail handle morphing into a classical mask on the body. A hand hammered surface, windows of clovers, orchids blossoms to the neck windows and just impressive works across the surface. The trophy is awarded "Balmain Regatta - 9, Nov. 1875 - Gardiner Cup - Gig Race - Crew - Brothers Clark (5) R.A. Clark & F.H. Williams No. 3".
