Antique Georgian English Sterling Silver 10 3/4 in. Salver by Ebenezer Coker

A fine antique Georgian salver. In sterling silver. By Ebenezer Coker. With a pie crust edge and engraved floral trellis & scroll work to the center. Supported on 4 scroll feet. Fully hallmarked paritally rubbed marks for London / Sterling / Ebenezer Coker / and with a rounded date letter that is either C, E, or G (dating the salver to ca. 1760). Simply wonderful Georgian silver! Date: ca. 1760 Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: The floral engraving to the top is likely from a later period. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some visible surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Ebenezer Coker Marks: Fully hallmarked for London / Sterling / Ebenezer Coker / and a rounded date letter that is either C, E, or G (dating the salver to ca. 1760). Fineness: Hallmarked with a lion passant for sterling silver fineness. Measurements: Height: ca. 1 1/4 in. Diameter: ca. 10 3/4 in.
