The centre of the blade is further ornamented with a heron perched on a branch, with a fish in its upturned beak. The cast and applied handle is embellished with impressive heart shaped bolster, encompassed with gadroon ornamentation. The surface of this large mustard pot is embellished with bright cut engraved scrolling leaf ornamentation accented with a spray of floral motifs and incorporating two quatrefoil designs. The upper and lower rims are encircled with applied moulded borders.
