An Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver Tazza by R & W Sorley, London 1901. The Tazza bowl is of shaped and lobed circular form, leading to a elongated stem on a spreading foot. The Tazza is hallmarked with the makers mark of R & W Sorley, London assay mark, and date letter 'f' for 1901. Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver). Period: - 1901. Engraving: - It is engraved to the base with the registration mark 'RD372122', and the retailers mark: '.SORLEY..SILVERSMITHS..GLASGOW.' Maker: - R & W Sorley. Measurement: - The Tazza measures 21.6cm (diameter) x 15.4cm (height). Weight: - 544.1 grams. 17.49 ozt. Condition: - The Tazza is in good antique condition.
