About the Item

Gorgeous Peruvian sterling silver 925 coffee/tea set with platter. This set consists of following parts: Coffee pot height: 10.62 inches (27.0 cm). Tea pot height: 9.44 inches (24.0 cm). Creamer height: 5.90 inches (15.0 cm). Lidded sugar bowl (with two handles). Height: 5.70 inches (14.5 cm). Bowl height: 3.54 inches (9.0 cm). Tray length / width: 63 / 41 cm 24.80/16.14 inches. ____________________________________________________________ Particulars features: Smooth surface of items (tray/platter included) is excellently decorated with stunning chasing/chiseled work consisting of ornaments running around (stylized leaves) combined with stylized acanthus leaves at handles/additionally, the spout of tea pot as well as of coffee pot is shaped as a basilisk's head. Each of the silver items of this set stands on round foot/the excellently shaped handles of coffee as well as of tea pot have parts made of bone having the function of thermal insulation. Manufactory: Camusso of Peru. Each piece is marked, too: Made in Peru on bottom. Additionally, branded by a Flag's stamp which is sign of Camusso. The name 'Camusso' is impressed, too. Finally, we have following marks here: Sterling 925. In 1933, Mr. Carlo Mario Camusso established in Lima, Peru a small silversmith workshop, thus laying the corner-stone of what along time would turn to be a well-established company with international renown. Later, in 1946, the one person workshop became a stock company. Since then the company always kept a unique spirit of unity, enthusiasm and permanent dedication among its executive members, employees and workers. Their collaboration made out of the founder's dream a today's reality. On the other hand, three consecutive generations of the Camusso Family who took charge of the management always kept one common denominator as key for success: "Transform Silver in Art."
