Coin silver porringer, probably early American from the late 18th or early 19th century, most likely from the Southern US. It measures 7 1/2'' in length by 4 3/4'' in depth by 1 7/8'' in height. It is marked AWL at the bottom of the bowl and on the reverse as shown.
