John Reily, English sterling silver monumental tray from 1788 (Georgian era), with a gadrooned rim. It measures 29'' from handle to handle (24 3/4'' excluding the handles) by 19'' in width by 1 3/4'' in height, weighs an impressive 152.8 troy ounces, and bears hallmarks as shown.
John Reily was a London-based silversmith. Some of his pieces are in the permanent collection of the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum.

Allston Flagg, an investment banker and former governor of the New York Stock Exchange, was a collateral descendant, and namesake of Washington Allston, the early 19th-century American painter.
