A magnificent Elizabeth II sterling silver covered bowl by Gerald Benney. This Centrepiece features an elegant lightly hammered bowl with a deep open work cover cast with swirl designs culminating in two hearts, one open and the other with a deep green enamel base. The Bowl functions with or without the cover and is both a function object and a sculptural piece in its own right. It is of excellent quality and notably heavy weight. Gilt sterling silver vase by Norwegian maker J. Tostrup. Designed in trumpet form with flower like spout and stem. The green enamel base is in stepped form.
