This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver teapot has an inverted pear shaped form onto a circular spreading foot.
The surface of the bachelor teapot is plain and unembellished.
The upper rim of the body is ornamented with a band of cast and applied gadroon decoration all in a swirl design.
This antique silver teapot is fitted with a hallmarked, domed flush hinged cover surmounted with an impressive and original, cast sterling silver flame style finial; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece.
This exceptional example of antique teaware retains the original C scroll carved painted wood handle featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece and a cast silver leaf decorated design to the upper socket,
This impressive example of antique silverware has a cast silver swan necked spout embellished with fluted decoration and applied leaf motif to the lip.
The ornamentation to the underside of the spout incorporates a vacant oval cartouche below a shell motif.
The cast circular spreading foot is encircled with further gadroon decoration to the rim.
Note: This maker may have been recorded in the missing 1739-1758 Smallworkers' Register or the 1758-1773 Largeworkers' Register, determining this maker's mark to be classed as 'unidentified' in all documents. The mark has been discovered on other holloware items such as mugs, salts and sauce boats.

This fine antique George III sterling silver decanter label / bottle ticket has a subtly convex, plain rectangular cut cornered form.
The body is embellished with the engraved inscription ‘RUM' to the center.
The antique decanter label is suspended from two ring loops to the upper border connected by a silver belcher style chain.
This fine example of Georgian silverware has been crafted by the Newcastle maker Thomas Watson but assayed in London; this was an occasional practice with smaller items of Newcastle silver, where no town mark was struck.

The surface of each antique tea caddy is embellished with very sharp, finely chased floral and foliate decoration, incorporating a scroll bordered vacant cartouche to either side.
The ornamentation to the body of each piece incorporates a plain applied moulded girdle.
These caddies are fitted with a cylindrical push fit covers encircled with leaf decorated textures.
The covers are surmounted with the original cast sterling silver leaf decorated finials.

The Faulkbourne hall cased tea caddies. An important and very unusual pair of George III tea caddies made in London in 1793 by William Frisbee, all contained within a contemporary velvet and silk lined satinwood case. The hinges and handle also hallmarked for 1793.
The pair of tea caddies are of an unusual oval form with upwardly curved rim. The sides are beautifully engraved with an upper and lower band of bright cut scrolls and foliate motifs on a scratch engraved and prick dot ground. Each side is engraved with an unusual bright cut cartouche with incuse corners. One cartouche is vacant and the other is engraved with a contemporary Scottish Crest with the motto "Nil Conscrire Sibi - Consious of no Wrong " above. The curved, slightly domed, cover is engraved with an outer band identical to those shown on the sides and terminates in a Neo Classical urn finial, also engraved with bright cut designs. The caddies are most unusual as they open from the side, not in the usual manner from the front. The caddies are each in excellent condition and are fully marked in the foot and with the maker's mark and sterling mark on the cover.
The pair of caddies are contained within a most breathtaking satinwood case with hallmarked hinges and escutcheon shaped handle and reeded oval mounts. It is most unusual to find fully hallmarked hinges, and handle, which accurately date the case, as the same date as the caddies. The interior is lined with the original silk, velvet and gold braid.
The Crest and Motto are those of Lieut-Col Jonathan Bullock of Faulkbourne Hall, County Essex. He was M.P. for Essex in many parliaments and, in 1763, married Miss Elizabeth Lante. He died without issue in 1809 and his estates devolved upon his nephew Jonathan Joshua Christopher Watson who, in 1810, assumed the surname and Arms of Bullock by Royal Licence. The Bullock family were descended from Robert Bullock of Herburghfield, County Berkshire. He was Sheriff of County Berks and Oxford under Richard II. He died in 1405.
Faulkbourne Hall is a Grade 1 listed Manor House in the village of Faulkbourne in Essex, the manor being first mentioned under Edward the Confessor. The earliest surviving parts of the Hall, a red brick building with turrets, date from the 15th century. Sir Edward Bullock, Knight, purchased the Hall and Manor of Faulkbourne in 1637. According to his 1971 obituary from the New York Times, "W. Allston Flagg, an investment banker and former governor of the New York Stock Exchange, was a collateral descendant, and namesake of Washington Allston, the early 19th-century American painter. His studies at Harvard were interrupted by Navy service in World War I as a submarine chaser commander. He returned to active duty as a lieutenant commander in World War II.

This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver beer jug has a plain baluster form onto a circular spreading foot.
The body of this impressive antique silver jug is embellished with an impressive engraved scrolling leaf bodered coat of arms depicting on a fess three five-pinted stars between three griffens' heads erased.
This impressive example of Georgian silverware is fitted with a cast sterling silver S scroll handle ornamented with an impressive scrolling leaf thumbpiece and bifurcating lower scrolling terminal.
The cast beak style spout of the jug is embellished with a vase-shaped moulding to the nadir.
The circular spreading foot is embellished with bands of tooled decoration.
Note: The London Assay Office have missing records in the Smallworkers' Register (1739-1758) and Largeworkers' Register (1758-1773), and it can be determined that this maker's mark was registered within this timeframe. However John King became free from his apprenticeship August 1757, and it can be determined there is a high probability that this maker's mark associates to him.

This extremely fine George III neoclassical antique sterling silver bread basket was made in Sheffield in 1777 by Richard Morton & Company. This beautiful basket stands on a flared beaded foot pierced with arched vertical pails. The main body is decorated with beaded bands and pierced with wave motifs, flower heads in ovals and plain vertical pails. The main body is also engraved with laurel leaf garlands. The arched, beaded, swing handle is pierced with oblong motifs, stylised quatrefoils and roundels. This extremely rare and fine garniture of George III neo classical baskets were made in London in 1778 by Philip Freeman. The Baskets all stand on a square pedestal foot which is pierced with horizontal pails and roundels, as well as being engraved with prick dot designs. The Classical vase shaped main bodies are also pierced with horizontal pails and roundels and the front of each piece displays a disc cartouche engraved with a contemporary Crest. The rim and swing handle, instead of being decorated with beading, are unusually engraved with various prick dot and bright cut bands, including stylised flower heads. Each basket is in excellent condition, has a blue glass liner and is fully marked in the foot.
The baskets are of a very rare decorative design and Philip Freeman was known for producing unusual baskets and pails, although his work does not survive in great quantity. These are also unusual in that they stand on a pierced foot, echoing the designs on the main body. The smaller baskets would have been used for cream and the larger ones for sugar, however it is extremely rare to find a garniture. They are almost always found singly or in pairs, in sizes. A very rare Classical garniture of outstanding quality.
