Antique Pair of English Sterling Silver Pepperettes – Deakin & Francis, 1919 A charming pair of sterling silver pepper shakers by Deakin & Francis Ltd, hallmarked for Birmingham, 1919. These elegant pepperettes are of flared vase form with scalloped rims, pierced domed lids, and small knop finials. The pair retain their original velvet and silk-lined presentation case, which shows expected wear but remains functional and closes securely. A classic and decorative addition to the dining table, or a fine gift item. Maker: Deakin & Francis Ltd Origin: Birmingham, England Date: 1919 Material: Sterling Silver Dimensions (each): 7 cm high, 4 x 4 cm Case: 13 x 11 x 6 cm Condition: Good antique condition with light surface wear and minor tarnish.
