Description
Pair of sterling silver George III sugar bowls with lids, Thomas Chawner, London, 1783. Elongated oval shape with raised circular foot and removable lid. Two curved side handles with beaded details. Beaded edging along the top edge, at the base and on the lid. Lid with central knob. Engravings with heraldic coat of arms on both sides.
Paired with two finely crafted silver spoons.

■Condition
Slight signs of weather wear and surface scratches. The four punches are present at the base of the sugar bowl. On the lid we find the manufacturer's logo and the passing lion.
