A Silver Challah Knife by Daniel Blumberg, Pennsylvania 1959

A Unique Silver and Wedgewood Jasperware Torah Pointer made by Daniel Blumberg in Pennsylvania in 1959. Most Torah pointers are usually made with a single constant metal. While there are some exceptions where two materials are mixed to make a unique item, this is the first time we have seen a Torah pointer made with Silver and inlaid Wedgewood Jasperware. This distinctive Torah pointer was created by attaching a foliate-designed silver crown affixed with a long silver chain to the tip of the blue-colored Wedgewood Jasperware handle. The handle is adorned with inlaid white flowers and flowing acanthus leaves on the upper handle. A Traditional Silver Kiddush Goblet by Bezalel, made in Jerusalem Circa 1950. Kiddush Goblet has excellent filigree scrolling along its domed base and the lower main body. A small plaque with the words "Bezalel Jerusalem" are written in Hebrew at the base of the stem. Foliate, vines, and grape cluster engravings enhance the body of the goblet serving as the background for the three filigree encircled medallions embellished on its sides.
