A George VI sterling silver Quaich in the Art Deco style; hallmarked London, 1946, and made by highly collectable silversmith R.E. Stone. The Quaich is of circular spot-hammered form, with triangular geometric design applied to the handles.

Engraving: The bowl is stamped to the base with the facsimile signature "R.E. Stone".
Maker: R.E. Stone.

The surface of this sterling silver christening mug is plain and has a subtle planished finish.
This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with a cast sterling silver handle, accented with an incurved handpiece, in addition to ribbed designs.
