An exceptional, fine and impressive set of three antique George IV Scottish Provincial sterling silver fiddle pattern sauce ladles, an addition to our silver flatware collection.
These exceptional antique George IV Scottish Provincial silver sauce ladles, in sterling standard, have been crafted in the fiddle pattern.
The anterior surface of the handle of each antique silver ladle is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crests of a hawk ringed above the initials 'GK'.
The reverse surface of each ladle features a rounded heel to the bowl and pip to the handle terminal.
Condition
These antique silver ladles are a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional condition in keeping with age.
The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.
Full Provincial hallmarks struck to the reverse of each handle are all very clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique Provincial silverware.

An exceptional, fine and impressive set of six antique George IV English sterling silver Fiddle pattern tradesman spoons; an addition to our silver flatware collection
These exceptional and rare antique George IV English sterling silver tradesman/sample spoons* have been crafted in the Fiddle pattern.
The anterior surface of each spoon handle terminal incorporates the contemporary engraved initial 'MAG'.
The reverse of each 19th century spoon has a rounded heel and to a pip to the handle terminal.
By virtue of their size these versatile silver spoons could be used for a multitude of functions, including: pickle, mustard/condiment, small coffee spoon.
These exceptional and collectable spoons were crafted by the renowned London silversmith William Eaton.
NOTE: * Such a spoon would have been carried by a tradesman as a sample size, demonstrating at a small scale the pattern and quality of spoon available for production by the workshop.
Condition
These antique silver tradesman spoons are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each handle are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
