Dutch silver serving spoon with openwork, 1883 Silver serving spoon from the Netherlands, dated 1883 with openwork This spoon is sturdy and can be used for multiple serving purposes. Consider serving fruit, an egg and possibly a sugar sifter. The silver spoon has the Dutch silver hallmarks. The "Lion 2" for silver purity of 833/000. The Minerva head (office letter faded) The Year letter for 1883. The maker's hallmark is a little faded, but may be the Dutch silversmith Jacob Hendrik Helweg, Amsterdam (worked 1864-1893) The measurement is 21 cm long, 5,5 cm wide and the depth is 4 cm (spoon high flat) The weight is 66 grams
