This exceptional, fine and impressive antique George III sterling silver caddy spoon is realistically modelled in the form of a jockey cap. The outer surface of the cap is encircled with impressive pin struck decoration, reproducing the details of the caps structure and stitching. The button to the crown of the cap is ornamented with an impressive quatrefoil style stellate design, encompassed with a wrigglework decorated border.
