Rare Indian Colonial Pap Boat Made in Madras by Lowe & Company, circa 1840

A Rare Indian Colonial Pap Boat Made in Madras circa 1840 by Lowe & Company The Pap Boat is modelled in a very unusual design with slightly baluster sides and a partly hooded spout section at the front. The hooded area is engraved with a set of contemporary script initials and the interior is finely gilded. The spout displays a very elegant slender design. The Pap Boat is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the base. Additional information: Length: 4.25 inches, 10.63 cm. Width: 2.25 inches, 5.63 cm. Height: 1.2 inches, 3 cm.
