Silver plated asparagus tongs by Elkington

About the Item

These ornately decorated silver plated asparagus servers were made by Elkington & Co of Birmingham England. They measure 242 mm (9.5 inches) in length, are 48 mm (1 7/8ths inches) at the widest point and stand 19 mm (.75 inches) high. They are in very good condition, with no actual wear to the silver, apart from some faint signs of use. The spring action to the handle is still strong. They carry Elkington's date letter for 1905.
