About the Item
A stunning set of 24 vintage embroidered and monogrammed placemats and napkins with service for 12. This gorgeous set is by Shaxted Chicago. A linens company popular in the mid-20th century. Each placemat is created from a sheer white fabric that feels like lace. A scalloped border in purple of the same fabric is applied around the edges. A matching purple monogram is applied at the left side which reads CDM with the 'M' larger at the bottom. The napkins are matching and are square with the same design in purple. This set comes in the original box from Shaxted Chicago. This set has been used but is in wonderful vintage condition. It would be perfect for any dinner party!
