1807 English Whitford Sterling Silver Coffee/Tea Set
About the Item
Dimensions: 7 3/4 inches high by 9 1/2 inches across handle and spout; teapot 6 inches high by 10 inches across handle and spout. Total weight 121 ozs. Crest monograms illustrated. The crest of the lion leaping out of the castle turret and holding the battleaxe are the arms of Wildman and Oakes. Edward K. H. Wildman was the second son of Colonel Thomas Wildman. He married in 1818, Antonia, daughter of Sir Hildebrand Oakes, Bart., K.C.B. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent, near pristine condition.
