About the Item

Product Description: This teaset has been designed by Turi Gramstad Oliver who since 1960 was responsible for quite a few famous designs at the Figgjo factory. Designs from her hand include: Daisy, Elvira, Market, Lotte, Tor Viking en Clúpea. The design of tableware was a phase in her life but her versatility is captured by her resignation from Figgjo to pursuit expressing her artistic mind on textile and paper. Like many of her works, the Tor Viking design emits hapiness and joy. The design is not pretentious, both form of- and painting on almost all figgjo designs are easy to fall in love with. Product condition: The set is in good condition. The only real imperfection is the small chip on the top of the teapot (visible on one of the pictures). Besides the chip there is some discoloration present on the bottom of the cups. Weight (tea pot): 790 grams Weight (cup): 180 grams Weight (saucer): 190 grams Height (tea pot): 18 cm Height (cup): 2 cm Height (saucer): 7.8 cm Diameter (bottom tea pot): 14 cm Diameter (cup): 8.5 cm Diameter (saucer): 14.5 cm
