French Vintage Empire Style Porcelain Coffee Service with a decor of Flowers

About the Item

A stunning French Empire style coffee service, dating from around 1950, and comprising a coffee pot, six cups and saucers, a lidded sugar bowl and a cream jug. Crafted from white and silvered porcelain, each piece features a polychrome decoration of creamy pink roses, together with stylish banding around the rims and bases, and acorn-shaped finials on the pot lids. The set is marked with the stamp of the Rovina family from Épinal, north-eastern France – renowned makers of earthenware, porcelain and crystal from the mid-19th century onwards. Please note a minor imperfection and repair to the lid of the sugar bowl.
