This exceptional antique George III sterling silver locking tea caddy has a navette, paneled shaped form.
The body of this silver tea caddy box is embellished with bands of bright cut engraved volute spiraling leaf ornamentation on a matte background to the upper and lower portions; these bands flank a plain undulating bordered panel.
The ornamentation to the surface of the caddy alternates with panels of concave vertical fluted decoration.
This antique Georgian tea caddy is retains the original hallmarked flush hinged covers; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this piece.
The cover is embellished with further bright cut engraved undulating borders accented with bud motifs, in addition to simplified borders paralleling the domed paneled portion; the domed portions reflects the incurved shape of the body.
This impressive cover is surmounted with a cast sterling silver urn style finial, in the Classic Adams style.
The caddy retains the original fitted fully working lock and functional key.

This exceptional, antique Edwardian four piece sterling silver tea and coffee service consists of a coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and sugar basket.
Each piece of this fine Chester silver tea set has an oval rounded form, all in the Queen Anne style.
The body of each piece is ornamented with panels of fluted decoration, incorporating a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a wolf chained and collared to one side.
The upper rim of each piece is ornamented with an applied moulded border.
Both the coffee pot and teapot are fitted with hinged hallmarked domed covers surmounted by the original carved painted wood and sterling silver topped pineapple finials.
The silver teapot and coffee pot retain the original carved painted wood handles, featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece.
The cream jug is fitted with an elongated C shaped silver handle and the sugar basket a swing handle, each ornamented with reed decoration.

This rare and exceptional George III teapot is the work of preeminent Georgian silversmith Paul Storr, it is one of his earliest works, the date mark on this pieces of the year 1793 which is the first year Storr marked items with his own initials (P S)
The teapot is designed in the neoclassical taste with some Chinese influences, or Chinoiserie taste, though the decoration shows signs of later 19th century enhancement in the technique and style of the chasing.
It is very hard to impossible to find works from this early period with this interesting Royalty provenance.
The family crest on the front is of the Tollemache family, and dating of The teapot indicate It belonged and probably commissioned by or as a gift to William Manners Tollemache, Lord Huntingtower, William, On 12 January 1793, at the Age of 26, he was created a Baronet, of Hanby Hall in the County of Lincoln.
So this teapot was commissioned to celebrate the occasion.
William Manners Tollemache:
Lord Huntingtower (19 May 1766 – 11 March 1833), known as Sir William Manners, Bt, between 1793 and 1821, was a British nobleman And Tory politician.
Born William Manners, he was the eldest son of John Manners and Louisa Tollemache, 7th Countess of Dysart. A magnificent solid silver antique Victorian Kettle on stand. The Kettle has a delicately faceted shape with each panel featuring a detailed engraved design featuring birds, scrolls and stylised leaves and flowers. The Kettle rests on an ornate stand with a burner in the centre and is secured to the stand with two sturdy pins on chains.
Made in London, England in 1843 by Joseph and George Angell.

A finely made English Georgian later silver mounted black basalt teapot decorated with classical winged cherub designs to either side and dating from around 1810. The teapot has a decagon shaped body with a large raised loop pouring handle with thumb rest and with a straight angled spout mounted with a silver end. The teapot has a raised castellated rim molded in low relief with leaf patterning repeated to the panels forming the body of the teapot with either side with a low relief winged cherub design one with an arrow and pedestal and the other leaning against a tree. An impressive Antique George III Sterling Silver Coffee Pot on a Silver Stand. This classic Georgian Coffee Pot has a subtle bead edged border on the lid, shoulder, column and base. The Coffee Pot has a wooden handle. The Stand has a round form and is embellished with a matching bead border. Both the Coffee Pot and Stand have an engraved monogram.

English Pearlware Coffee Pot, Blue Transferware, Fallow Deer in Snow, 1800-1820

This is a superb coffee pot made in England between 1800 and 1825. The pot is made of pearlware and has a very charming blue transfer printed pattern of fallow deer in a snowy landscape with farm buildings.
This transfer print looks like an early 19thC print; as we couldn't identify the maker it was impossible to date it exactly. A charming detail is that the rim of the cover and the footrim, which are printed with a row of houses, both are printed up side down; this was probably done by children, who often did the smaller transfer prints because their little fingers could handle the thin strips of paper better than adults.
The coffeepot is unmarked. There is an old shop label on the underside stating it is "English, probably Spode" - however, although this pot is certainly English, it is certainly not Spode.
CONDITION REPORT The coffee pot is in good antique and usable condition without any damage to the pot or the spout; there are just some chips off the lower rim of the cover, which are not visible when in position and are inconsequential for using the pot. As is normal for antique pearlware...
