About the Item

This is a an assembled 21-piece Japanese tea and condiment set that is a colorful example of mid-20th century export porcelain. Each piece is hand-painted with geisha, pagoda, and garden scenes in vivid red, green, and blue tones. Included are 10 small plates, 7 fluted footed bowls, a large floral pitcher, a matching salt shaker, a scenic scalloped dish, and a Japanese lacquer serving tray adorned with a traditional Edo-period scene under glass. All porcelain items are stamped “Made in Japan,” reflecting quality craftsmanship from the 1940s–1950s. The set is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Perfect for decorative display, tea service, or as a collector’s showcase set. Pairing the complete set with its original tray makes this a rare find and a conversation piece in the room of your choice.
