Folk Art Mosaic Bottle

About the Item

A beautiful and complex folk art mosaic bottle. Clear glass milk bottle that is covered in countless fragments, broken porcelain, jewelry, Bakelite, glass, beads, pottery, clay... A wonderfully complex menagerie of vibrant color and texture. A distinct and time consuming work of art that tells many stories. Imagine compiling, collecting, searching and then executing the project slowly? What was the first piece added to this mosaic? Where did the creator start and finish this project? There could be something valuable in the mix, too. Maybe a ruby or a piece of jade? Circa 1930-40. Good overall condition with some missing pieces by the bottle neck and opening. Structurally sturdy. Approximately 3.75" x 3" x 11" high.
