Studio Pottery Glazed Figure of a Resting Bird Signed Heptagon Dated 1976

About the Item

An unusual studio pottery glazed figure of a resting bird signed Heptagon to the base and dated 1976. The figure is well potted with its wings resting on its fanned tail feathers and holds its head to one side. The hand crafted figure has incised detail and is decorated in tones of green, blue and pale yellow glazes. The bird has an incised signed reading Heptagon to the base along with a further indistinct signature and is dated 1976. In good condition.
