Older Yoruba African Carved and Painted Mask, Labeled

About the Item

An older small scale mask carved and painted white (now worn) with painted blue and black features and a black top knot. Marked on interior tape, “Yoruba”. The Mask with good age, facial scarification and pierced rim holes. From the collection of Multi--Disciplinary Connecticut artist Norma Flanagan Dimensions: height 7 1/2", wide 5 1/2", depth 4". Condition:Please see detail photos. Stable repair on the top, worn paint, chip on the chin and stable wood splits which do not detract from the powerful presentation.
