Carved Pine Half Hull Model of a Coasting Schooner

About the Item

Antique Carved Pine Half Hull Model of a Coasting Schooner, circa 1920, a hollow-carved shell half hull model with clipper bow and great shear, and nice serpentine carved trailboard. This is a very elegant and well carved model of what was a beautiful schooner in life. The model has a few nicks, and a few splits to the thin wood especially along the keel. The patina is exceptional. Measures: 9-1/2 in H x 58-1/2 in L x 5-1/4 in Deep.
