About the Item

This is a wooden ladder made by the Dogon tribe of West Africa. With a unique history and culture, they live at the foot of cliffs, with about 700 villages and a population of about 250,000. In recent years, their land has been registered as a World Heritage Site. Their houses are made of sun-dried bricks, which are completed by piling up bricks and covering the surface with soil. It also has a granary, which is characterized by a thatched roof or square shape. This warehouse is made of hardened mud.
