A carved wooden figure of Maile with child. A Hampadong Kalimantan carved standing sculpture by the Iban Dayak [Ot Danum Dayak] people from the interior rain forests of BORNEO. An exceptionally rare hardwood and shell inlays carved with a beautiful natural patina effect. Elongated sculpted reptile carved on the back of this sculpture adds to the uniqueness of this piece.
