Finely carved large geometric figure from the Lobi, of Ghana and Burkina Faso, dating from the early to mid-20th century. It has a captivating intense gaze and one arm folded on chest, and other arm out to the side. Carved from very hard wood, Some insect damage to feet, small stable cracks. On custom base, measures: 22 1/2" high x 9" wide x 4" deep. ex- Michael Sorafine, Los Angeles, CA
