1800s large Oil Lantern

About the Item

This was a very early oil lantern that has now been wired to take three E26 bulbs. It a large size lantern with an 18 inch diameter made up by 8 sections and 24 glass panels. The lamp is24 inches tall plus a pipe drop that you spec. The top 16 panels are milk glass over 8 in clear glass. The frame is black painted tin still showing its rustic patina. We are guessing thisi s mid to early 19th century.
