About the Item
1980s French UFO-shaped, space age, directional uplighter halogen ceiling light. Manufactured by L G Paris. The metal curved shade is coated with a dark green textured enamel coating on the outside with a matching ceiling cup with the same coating. The interior has been sprayed with a white glossy paint which helps to reflect the light upwards. The centre of the shade has a hole cut into it which fits a curved frosted glass shade that allows the light to shine downwards through it. A thin brass tubular angled support connects the ceiling cup to the shade which allows it to pivot to direct the light to where you require it to shine.
Rewired and in full working order. In good vintage condition. There is a scratch on the enamel side which I've highlighted in the images and a number of scratches to the white section which aren't visible when the light is hanging in place. A single Halogen bulb is required.
The original maker's label is visible on the underside of the ceiling cup..
