19th Century French Belle Époque 6-Arm Chandelier

About the Item

Early 20th c. Belle Époque 6-arm chandelier, with scrolled arms and foliate design, unmarked, not electrified. A highly decorative and charming light fixture, this chandelier will add a lovely candlelit ambiance to any setting. Three simple chains hang from a delicate coronet terminating at a medallion detailed with pinecone finials. The chains connecting the medallion to the central basket are quite ornate and eye catching. The central basket comprises 6 scrolled arms each with bobèches decorated with a lovely folate design. Dimensions: 25"H x 13"W Condition: Good, some oxidation, light gilding wear, and darkening to finish. Provenance: A Private Collection: Beachside Avenue, Westport, CT.
