About the Item
Antique early 20th Century French Empire style cast bronze and alabaster 12 bulb chandelier. Decorated with laurel leaves, reeded boarders and branches applied with Bacchus masks and acanthus leaves. Alabaster is a natural translucent stone that comes from north of Spain, It is similar to marble but not as dense and emits a warmer glow when it is lit.
