The lighting parts of Blob seem to be light balloons suspended in the air, a fresh look for this new generation chandelier designed by Karim Rashid for Purho proposed in a kaleidoscopic mix of colours. Available in 8, 12 or 16 lights, Blob diffuses a homogeneous and delicate light emphasized by the special colours of the glass. As for the entire range of products offered by the company, Blob is also available for customisation thanks to the 21 colour variations available in the color chart:

PURHO — Italian soul with an international character Founded in 2012 by CEO Andrea Dotto aiming to turn into reality the potential of the marriage between Murano glass and contemporary design, Purho is now capable of marketing products stemming from solid research based on the observation of current tastes and new creative languages seen through the lens of the Murano glassmaking tradition. The result is a range of thematic collection of sleek products characterised by a clear-cut design with only a few decorations: what stands out is their curvy as well as markedly geometrical lines featuring colour in its purity as a main trait. Ersa, named after the ancient Greek goddess of morning dew, draws inspiration from that most magical moment of the day: the sunrise.
Early morning, when the first light of day sends the darkness of the night away, we can see one of nature’s wonders on display: dew drops formed throughout the night. Just as the change of temperature on a surface creates dew, also new finishes and materials are born under shifting conditions.
