About the Item

Ajustable French Art Deco Ceiling Light in Ceramic with an opaline shade. Dating from the 1920's these lights have a beautiful pulley system in a typical modernist art deco design. The original ceiling fixture also shows a geometric shape. The pulley system enables to pull down or up the opaline shade which can come down to about 3 metres. Both types of opaline shades are available for both lights, with clear ribbed glass or sleek opaline, up to you to choose, just let us know. It can be adapted to another height upon request. The coton braided electric cable is new. The height of the light is adjustable up to approximately 3 meters. The French interior designer Andrée Putman had a pair of these above her kitchen table, see picture. Very careful packaging.
