Antique metal ceiling-mounted light fixture.
This ceiling-mounted fixture features a galvanized metal body painted to appear as bronze or copper. Within the ornate metal wreath of cast leaves is a series of curved slag glass panels, separated by thin metal lines that form a spiderweb. A series of sockets surround the central glass, surrounding the descended finial. Walter Hubbard & his brother-in-law, Nathaniel Lyman Bradley, started making cast iron clocks, tables, frames, andirons, lamps, chandeliers, sconces, and sewing machines in 1854 in Meriden, Connecticut. Bradley & Hubbard continued until the 1940s when the Charles Parker Company bought them out.
This lighting fixture has been rewired in shop and is ready for use. Professional installation will likely be required to use this fixture.
