About the Item
A dramatic Art Deco / Machine Age style hanging chandelier featuring a beautiful cast glass bowl with geometric design. The mark “S.E.V.B. - 233” denotes manufacture by French glassmaker Société d'Exploitation des Verreries de Bagneaux previous to the year 1931. The center bowl is illuminated by three interior bulbs, and is encircled by twelve candelabra style light fixtures. With a harmonious mix of Art Deco and Machine Age elements suspended from a trio of raw, industrial heavy link chains topped by a stylized "crown" - this chandelier exhibits both power and delicacy.
