About the Item

A minimalist Art Deco Finnish lamp with a ziggurat style opaline glass shade. The lamp is not stamped and hence a bit difficult to confirm, but many leading Finnish companies have produced such lamps like Taito, Idman and Orno. Many Taito catalogues from the 1930s have this under model no. 1612. Orno 1930s catalogues also has it. The shade is in perfect condition, but the upper part has some wear and really small bent in the metal that are consistent with it's age of around 90 years. A real beauty for a small space or a corner in the art deco lovers home.
