About the Item
Solaire pendant light
This pendant light was conceptualized by Atelier George in 2020, and is part of the Aube collection. Each sphere is blown by the artist, making the suspension unique. This luminaire is composed of an opa- line white glass globe veined with amber, and three colored glass planets veined in shades of blue, gray and ochre, linked by brass arches.

about the designer
Both a glass-blowing workshop and a design studio, Atelier George combines creation with expertise. Eve George & Laurent Fichot work four-handed, from design to production. The result of this collabora-
tion is a collection of glass objects, never to be reproduced identically. The objects are designed, revised and corrected by both, until the right line is found that corresponds to both their identities. This work
on form, this quest for precision, is the brand’s signature. Glassblowing, with four hands, transforms the idea into an object.
In June 2018, Eve George was awarded the Prix de la Jeune Création des Métiers d’Art, a French national prize for young artisans, selected for their artistic and technical skills. Following a residency at the
Villa Albertine in 2023, she presented her Solaire suspension at Design Miami in an exhibition co-organized by the Mobilier National and the Villa Albertine.
In 2024 Atelier George entered the Mobilier National with one of their suspensions.
